The Gem of the Corinthian Gulf
Trizonia Island is a truly inspiring place and one of the last of its kind. It is the only inhabited island in the entire Gulf of Corinth, located between mainland Greece and the Peloponnese, and is the paradise place to relax.
The sights worth visiting include the traditional stone-built church of Aghios Georgios, the one of Aghia Paraskevi, the old primary school and the natural harbor hosting yachts in its marina. No cars and motor scooters are allowed on the island.
Trizonia island, unknown until a few years ago too many, is a lush paradise island, the largest and only inhabited in the Gulf of Corinth. It is only 470 meters from the main land of Fokida, and harmoniously combines the beauties of the sea and the mountain, with crystal clear waters, crystal clear beaches and dense forest vegetation. The island has a beautiful natural harbor, and a marina with 180 seats for picturesque fishing boats, sailing boats and yachts, which serves as a stopover for yachts headed from the Saronic and Aegean to the Gulf of Patras and the Ionian Sea and vice versa as it is the last refuge before the exit to the Ionian Sea.
